Compass Fairs continues to grow. – With the acquisition of the Danish company Messetæpper A / S, we can offer an even wider range and service to companies that participate in trade fairs or arrange larger events, says Henning Sørensen, CEO of Compass Fairs Denmark.
The acquisition of another subcontractor to the trade fair industry strengthens Compass Fairs’ market position throughout Northern Europe. – We have been looking forward to announcing this, says President and CEO Compass Fairs Stewart L. Stjernholm with great enthusiasm.
Peder Hansen, who started Messetæpper in 2006, has developed the company strongly since its inception. In collaboration with leading manufacturers in event carpets and Tesa tape, Peder Hansen has been involved in developing new products for the benefit of the entire trade fair and event industry. Messetæpper is today Scandinavia’s largest supplier of special products to the industry. In 2019, Compass took over Fair PH Service, which was also owned and operated by Peder Hansen.
Compass Fairs has a team with the experience, understanding and willingness needed to continue Peder Hansen’s successful companies once again. – It has been a close and good collaboration for many years, and I know we aim for the same goal – which is satisfied customers, says Stjernholm.
Compass Fairs will take over the large warehouse on Stamholmen / Copenhagen, which will thus continue as a combined warehouse for Messetæpper also in the future. The large capacity for carpets, tapes and textiles will be continued. All employees in Messetæpper will also continue as previously, including Peder Hansen in a reduced position.
