Danish Export Association sells Standesign, which the association has owned since 2006. Standesign is bought by Norwegian-owned Compass Fairs, one of the Nordic region’s largest supplier within trade fairs and conferences.
Danish Export Association has strengthened Danish export companies and created a framework for these through international growth over the past 50 years. One task has been to help the members to profile their companies, through participation in international fairs, exhibitions and conferences. This has often taken place in close collaboration with Standesign A / S, which the Danish Export Association has owned since 2006, and which designs, manufactures and builds unique exhibition stands in various venues around the world.
– Through our ownership of Standesign, we have given our members the opportunity to be profiled with custom stands at large pavilions and trade fairs, opening doors for progress in new markets, says Ulrik Dahl, CEO of the Danish Export Association.
Danish Export has made a strategic decision to sell Standesign and has carefully evaluated the market to find the right buyer. The decision was taken to sell to Norwegian-owned Compass Fairs, which is one of the largest trade fair organizers and stand builders in the Nordic region.
Compass Fairs and Standesign have broad experience and expertise in design and project management. With its own production and storage capacity as well as qualified assemblers, the companies build exciting and inspiring solutions for customers. Standesign and Compass Fairs share the same values and culture, and the employees therefore complement each other in the best way.
Standesign and its employees will continue as an independent unit in Compass Fairs and the main tasks will continue to be a primary supplier of stands to Danish Export and its members.
